Every piece of our jewellery is handmade in our small, family workshop situated in a tiny, thatched cottage in a beautiful Killarney, co. Kerry.

This unique, entirely handcrafted  pendant is inspired by Ireland’s great cultural marvel and treasure- Book of Kells which can be seen at the Long Room- Trinity College in Dublin, one of the world’s most beautiful libraries.

It is made with fine silver and decorated with vitreous enamel called cloisonné.

It comes with sterling silver chain with lobster clasp.

Dimensions: 5.2 cm (including the bail) x 3.1 cm

Weight: 22.8 g

Sterling silver chain: 45 cm plus small extension.

Cloisonné or Vitreous Enamel is an intricate and laborious, ancient jewellers technique.
The enamel becomes the final artwork after several firing operations in a special kiln and then, time-consuming polishing, demanding high level of an expertise.
The finished piece is unique and it is almost impossible to find two identical ornaments. One of a kind.

Care of this product is simple- clean the silver part and chain with a polishing cloth. Do not dip it in  a silver cleaning solution as it may damage the enamel.
