This earrings are entirely handmade with fine silver and cloisonné enamel. They are handmade in Ireland, county Kerry, in our small workshop using ancient enamelling technique called cloisonné .
Cloisonné or Vitreous Enamel is an intricate and laborious, ancient jewellers technique. The enamel becomes the final artwork after several firing operations in a special kiln and then, time-consuming polishing, demanding high level of an expertise.
The finished piece is unique and it is almost impossible to find two identical pieces of jewellery.
They are very delicate and elegant.
Dimension of the earrings:
Length: 3.7 cm
Width: 0.8 cm
Total weight is 7.3 grams
Care of the earrings is simple- clean the silver part with a polishing cloth. Do not dip it in a silver cleaning solution as it may damage the enamel.
