This green enamelled silver cross pendant is made with fine silver and decorated with vitreous enamel called cloisonné.
It is hanged on sterling silver chain with lobster clasp.

Cloisonné or Vitreous Enamel is an intricate and laborious, ancient jewellers technique.
The enamel becomes the final artwork after several firing operations in a special kiln and then, time-consuming polishing, demanding high level of an expertise.
The finished piece is unique and it is almost impossible to find two identical ornaments. One of a kind.
Care of this cross pendant- clean the silver part and chain with a polishing cloth. Do not dip the cross in a silver cleaning solution as it may damage the enamel.
